Animal Kingdom Street Style

                                         | shirt  | jacket  |  shorts  |  ears  |  shoes  |  bangles  | fitbit

If you know me, you know I love two things; colorful things, and Disney things. So obviously I squeal with joy and do a happy dance when these two are put together. I absolutely love this shirt from The Mainstreet Press, the fabric is so soft and breathable, so it will be perfect for a day in the parks!

I have to tell you about these shorts from Old Navy now. Would it be terribly crazy if I told you I own about 5 pairs of these, all in different colors? That's how much I love them! They're perfect for summer time when it's crazy hot and you would rather not bother with pants. They're also spectacular for wearing to the pool or to the beach, when you're dying to jump into the cool water and take a load off from the hot summer days.

I can't wait to wear this outfit to Disney's Animal Kingdom in September and bask in all the streets of Harambe style, but for now I'll stick to showing my Disney style outside of the parks ;).

Where We're Eating

It seems like 2017 is just flying by, and we're quickly approaching my sister and I's birthday trip to Disney World. So much so that we recently made our dining reservations! For this trip, we're on the Disney Dining Plan which includes one table service meal, one quick service, and two snacks a day. I thought it would be fun to share with you where we're eating, especially some of my favorites. Our trip will be here before we know it and I am so excited, I can hardly wait!

Our first day will be spent at my family's favorite park (besides Magic Kingdom, of course), Epcot! We've always wanted to eat in Mexico, so that's what we're doing. We made late lunch reservations for the San Angel Inn Restaurante which looks beautiful and has wonderful reviews.

The next day we'll be off to Hollywood Studios, and this time we're trying out the Hollywood and Vine for lunch. It'll be especially great for my younger brother who is totally in love with the characters right now, he'll have a wonderful chance to meet them! This one includes our tickets to see Fantasmic, one of my favorite firework shows ever!

This next place we're eating at is by far my favorite; Disney's Be Our Guest Restaurant. This is quick service but we made our reservations and I just couldn't leave it out! Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie and the last time we dined here it was wonderful! We're going to be enjoying breakfast in the lovely Enchanted castle, something I'm so excited for. The breakfast food looks as good as the castle!

Our final day of reservations we have made is for two different parks; Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We'll be eating in the Norway pavillion for breakfast at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. It's a wonderful place to meet the princesses and we even have the earliest reservation to be in before the park opens! A nice tip I have is to make your reservations for this breakfast before the park opens so you can be in Epcot and near the highly anticipated Frozen ride to get in line as soon as you can!

For dinner that night, it was my brother's choice. He chose his personal favorite; the Sci-Fi Dine in Theater. The food and atmosphere are both exquisite here, my family's favorite part was sitting in one of the cars and watching a movie. Don't forget to grab a milkshake!

Our final day is my personal favorite, 'Ohana character breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Resort. The charcters are to die for (I love Stitch, he's one of my favorites), the food is fantastic, and the theme is the perfect kid-friendly/family style Hawaiian atmosphere that my family loves.  We especially love the famous breakfast beverage, which consists of orange, passion fruit, and guava juices!

These are all of the dining reservations we have so far, and of course this doesn't include all of our quick service meals or snacks (Dole Whips, anybody?). I hope this helped you gather some inspiration on where you and your family might like to eat the next time you take a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Majestic Mermaid Style

My family and I recently took a little shopping trip to the mall, where I found the MOST BEAUTIFUL bomber jacket that I've ever seen! I knew that I had to have it; it just screamed magical princess vibes at me. It's honestly one of my most favorite pieces in my closet... and it's so comfy! The fabric is super breathable so it'll be great for a hot day in Disney, or just being a totally fabulous mermaid princess on any normal day. :) I'm in love with it!!

A Quick History

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

I remember it like it was just yesterday; my first trip to Walt Disney World.

Okay, that's not completely true. I can only recall a few things; the others I can gather from photos. One thing I do remember is getting into trouble for playing with sandcastle building toys. Of course: this was highly ironic because the toys were there for us to play with. Obviously, I was going to do just that! This was at the Beach Club resort in Walt Disney World almost fourteen years ago. That boggles my mind!

It's crazy what we remember from our days as wee little children. Most of it is totally random. I don't even remember meeting a single character or riding a ride from that trip; only splashing around in the resort pool with the sparkling white sand beneath my toes. It's also quite funny how certain smells, sounds, or tastes can bring us back to that memory and we can reminisce for a moment. That's how Disney feels for me. Really; all of it is like holding onto the magic of my childhood, the days of mermaid swimsuits and 7pm bedtimes. Every time we go back to the magical land, we visit a Disney Store, or we simply go to the movies; I am filled with a gleeful spark of joy. Who can resist the ethereal magic of Disney?

We've gone as much as we could ever since that first trip. Every time someone in the family recommends we try something new; we are drawn back to Walt Disney World. It's almost like it's our favorite vacation spot! That it is, but it's also so much more. It's a place where everyone in my family can be themselves and simply have fun. There's a beautiful range of different ages- my youngest brother will be two in May of 2017 and my twin sister and I will be driving by the end of this year- yet Disney has something to suit everyone. That's the beauty of it!

Every single one of my friends and family members know me as the "Disney lover" and the one to come to for information or tips. Perhaps that's the true motivation behind this lovely blog; sharing my love of Disney with the world. I hope to share a bit of joy and magic with you to brighten up your day, even if it's just for a moment!
